Melbourne Creative is a graphic design, web design & development business from Melbourne Australia, specialising in high quality yet affordable design solutions for small to medium business. We work in both the print & digital space, from customised WordPress websites, corporate logo & branding, through to designing for press & social media campaigns, catalogues, booklets & flyers. We offer a competitive alternative to larger creative agencies due to our small dynamic team of creatives.
Our business was established with a focus on quality tailored solutions for clients at a reasonable cost. It is our mission to ensure due diligence and attention to detail with every job, strict adherence to timelines and budgets where necessary, and to maintain clear communication with our clients through out the design process. Our goal is to have every client feel satisfied and confident about the results of every job.
Furthermore, we have a vision of a sustainable future, free from fossil fuels, non-renewable energy, non recyclable & plastic products and packaging, and unsustainable foresting. We use recycled or FSC approved paper products wherever possible.
Our vision is of a sustainable future, free from fossil fuels, relying entirely on renewable energy, recyclable & non-plastic products and packaging where all humans respect the land and creatures that inhabit it. We use recycled or FSC approved paper products wherever possible and always preference recycled solutions. We try our best to recommend that our clients to do the same.
Our mission is to provide a high quality service to my clients, and to give back to the community wherever possible. We are open in our communication to clients regarding budget and timeline. As an Australian business, we believe we must respect the indigenous first inhabitants of this country. We believe that we should be doing more to integrate Aboriginal culture including better education in schools and increased Government support.
About Rob Eggleston
Hi I’m Rob, a Melbourne based graphic designer and web developer (and a musician on the side). I completed a Bachelor of Communication Design degree at Swinburne University in 2010, and have since worked in a number of design roles as well as operating my own creative business. I have recently completed a number of contracts as a graphic designer and production designer for Independent Hardware Group (Home Timber & Hardware and Thrifty-Link Hardware), and am currently contracted with Novatti Group (Novatti, Flexewallet, China Payments, TransferBridge) and The Jaguar Car Club of Victoria. In total I’ve accumulated over seven years of experience working in the creative industry.
I hold the belief that, as professionals, we should provide assistance to the community wherever possible. I was privileged to be able to be involved in the Monash Health Design Think Lab as a pro-bono graphic designer for the Wominjeka Aboriginal Healing Garden, and the #SaveCubbies campaign to help secure state funding for the Fitzroy Adventure Playground. Furthermore, when running my business and performing my work, I always strive to have as minimal an impact on the environment as possible and will use sustainable solutions/alternatives wherever possible.
My strengths as a business owner and designer are; clear and concise communication with my clients, my ability to understand the brief and requirements on a per-job basis, understanding the individual business needs and prerequisites, and my ability to provide on-time, on-budget solutions for my clients.
