Hi, I’m Rob. I am a Melbourne based graphic designer and web developer (and a musician on the side). I completed a Bachelor of Communication Design degree at Swinburne University in 2010, and have since worked in a number of design roles as well as operating my own creative business. I have recently completed a number of contracts as a graphic designer and production designer for Independent Hardware Group (Home Timber & Hardware and Thrifty-Link Hardware), and am currently contracted with Novatti Group (Novatti, Flexewallet, China Payments, TransferBridge) and The Jaguar Car Club of Victoria. In total I’ve accumulated over seven years of experience working in the creative industry.
I hold the belief that, as professionals, we should provide assistance to the community wherever possible. I was privileged to be able to be involved in the Monash Health Design Think Lab as a pro-bono graphic designer for the Wominjeka Aboriginal Healing Garden, and the #SaveCubbies campaign to help secure state funding for the Fitzroy Adventure Playground. Furthermore, when running my business and performing my work, I always strive to have as minimal an impact on the environment as possible and will use sustainable solutions/alternatives wherever possible.
My strengths as a business owner and designer are; clear and concise communication with my clients, my ability to understand the brief and requirements on a per-job basis, understanding the individual business needs and prerequisites, and my ability to provide on-time, on-budget solutions for my clients.
I hope that I can assist you grow a business of your own.
If you have any questions, you can get in touch with me directly via our contact page.
My vision is of a sustainable future, free from fossil fuels, non-renewable energy, non-recyclable & plastic products and packaging, and unsustainable foresting, where humans respect the land and creatures that inhabit it. I use recycled or FSC approved paper products wherever possible, I always preference recycled solutions and recommend my clients to do the same. I’m a vegetarian, and avoid using animal products such as leather or suede.
My mission is to provide a high quality service to my clients, and to give back to the community wherever possible. I am open in my communication regarding budget and timeline. As an Australian, I believe we must respect the Aboriginals, the first inhabitants of my country, and believe that we should do more to integrate Aboriginal culture with the Australian ‘western’ society, including better education in schools.
