Melbourne Creatives designers worked on a rebranding exercise for the D2 Drumline. The drumline wanted a full refresh that steered clear of their previous brand, and wanted a circular logo with a badge appearance with updated typography and drum inspired features and flare. The design shows instantly recognisable features of a drum, including the inner stripe, which can be interpreted as a drum-head stripe or wood plys of the drum shells. The design also takes some classic flag & sports logo features to link the drumline back to its classic American sporting roots.
